All change

After the heat and lack of rain we had a much more pleasant temperature and rain showers. The birds were paddling in the puddles on the road outside the house.

At lunchtime we went into town for B to have a haircut and do some errands, make an audiology follow up appointment for him, collect a urine sample pot to take to his appointment next week and a frequency / volume chart to fill in. 

We rewarded ourselves with coffee and cake at our quirky coffee shop. We were sat next to one of the old posters. I have no idea how these paper posters survived.

A session at the gym early evening was very quiet. It’s easy to see that the summer holidays are starting as the groups of children in the pool are getting smaller.

As we were going to bed we had a message from R to say that her flight home from Riyadh tonight has been  cancelled and she is rescheduled via Frankfurt, a 9 hr flight instead of 6.5 hrs. She’s not sure if she will get any sleep on the way home.
