Drought

Just two months ago we had water in the Rio Grande.  While the river does get low and dry in many parts of the river bed every summer, to say we need rain now is an understatement.

Beyond the sand and dirt a very narrow stream still flows...for how long?

You might notice our usually clear blue sky is rather hazy.  There are 33 active forest fires in the contiguous states (NM, CO, AZ, UT).  Meanwhile, further south in New Mexico (and in Texas), devastating flash floods have washed away lives, homes, habitat.

Climate Change.
