Newton Bay

Another fab day at school meeting some more new people who come over weekly to be with the children. Everyone in so positive and has a genuine interest in getting the best for the school. Being on an island means that sometimes resources are centralised and a bit of out-of-the-box thinking is required to consider how we could benefit.

A drippy day but a lovely evening so I took myself out for a walk along the front. The water is like glass and there is not a breath of wind. There were a few people out walking but they were tourists I suspect. Shops were closed up and the place was pretty deserted. Strange to think that 2 weeks ago it was heaving!

I don't think I will ever tire of looking across the water to the very many and varied views that are offered here. I haven't been in my car since Sunday!

I just feel incredibly lucky to be here and be loving my job so much and have such wonderful people all around me. Happy days!
