Brewery

Another day of logging on and having zero motivation.

I did head out for an early morning power ramble but I'd only just set off when I looked down the valley to see the apocalypse coming towards me. I decided to head home but I was too late and the heavens opened and I get well and truly soaked to the skin.

Had my invite to my first consultation in the afternoon and to discover that the role they want me to take on is fixed-term.

Had a conversation in the morning about some potential work that I can do on a consultant basis that could stretch into next year.

And so to the consultation. Couldn't organise a gathering in a brewery comes to mind. Decision has been made financially and in order to promote H&S and sustainability. They then talked about the role they want me to do. So I asked for clarity, is it interim? Is it fixed-term? If so, for how long? Or is it permanent? They couldn't answer the questions. Clueless! Monday is likely to be my outcome consultation and I suspect by the end of next week I will be gone.

Spoke to young padawan. This will be her first experience of this type of nonsense.
