Hard

Up at normal time ready for work. For who knows how much longer?

I had the unenviable task of letting the team know this morning. I held it together, just. It has come as a big shock to them and already a few are contemplating moving on as I will no longer be there. I will miss not being part of the gang, it is very hard.

One of the team posted a Linkedin post about our team meeting. This was the quote he finished it off with "The greatest leader is not necessarily the one who does the greatest things. He is the one that gets the people to do the greatest things."- Ronald Reagan 

Had a good long chat with my young padawan. She's gone as well now, she won't stay. I let her know how proud I am of her.

I managed to get a power ramble in before work started and I managed a lunchtime power ramble.

Zero motivation to do anything, so I ended up following the test match cricket. And what a test match! Unbelievable.

Dentist appointment in the afternoon, two fillings. I've got a numb gum and nose. Lol!

Hoping for a quiet night.

Today I am thankful for:

1. Being the one who was able to tell my team the news
2. A good chat with young padawan
3. Two good power rambles
