Taking It Easy

In a dramatic break from tradition, I met my friend Roger and his dog, Polly, on a Friday rather than a Monday. The routine remained the same though: a short walk and a chat over a couple of drinks about ailments, football and family and how, as Paul Simon puts it 
“most folks’ lives they stumble … they fall
Through no fault of their own*
Most folks never catch their stars”

(* though not always!)


Sometimes we can get quite philosophical!

Anyway, these folks on the bench seemed to be taking it easy and enjoying the view, but who knows?
