In Victoria Park

Such a relief to get up and feel a bit cooler. Did my big Tesco shop in the morning. So expensive - I’m just buying essentials, the worst is coffee- gone from £3.50 to £6.50. I know the crop has failed - so there is a reason. Much of the day spent on other chores, unexciting but quite satisfying. Later on I went to the Post Office to send off a parcel. Liam’s dad had a really bad fall (running on the coast path) and had to be rescued by a team of coastguards. Anyhow, he’s very much stuck at home for a while, so I sent him a book I know he’ll like. Then on to Victoria Park , which was looking very dry. Found two patches of colour. A double row of lovely sunflowers, and a patch of mixed wildflowers. So they are my blip
