Helmsley Walled Garden

Kris took Lando to Flamingoland and Frank went out on his bike so Lucas had to join the ladies!
Last year when we stayed in Helmsley Rachel was seven months pregnant so I ended up going to the Walled Garden on my own. Today I had company to enjoy it with. It was still lovely although you can see the effects of the lack of rain as it wasn't as vibrant as this time last year. We had lunch in one of the cafes in town and then looked in a few shops including the bookshop but no purchases were made this time.
Then we drove to Thornton-le-dale and admired the beautiful cottages before having ice cream.
We all got home about the same time with everyone having had good days particularly Lando who had gone on all the dinosaur rides. Chinese takeaway for tea.
