Urban Wandering

I had an appointment with the dental hygienist in Havant this morning. I left plenty of time to find a parking place and as that went smoothly, I had time to have a wander in the streets before my appointment.

It’s such an interesting area. A considerable mix of buildings from different decades and of different designs. There’s quite a number of streets which have clearly seen better days and the faded shop fronts set the mind wandering to what they once were and what they might become in the future. My walk finished at the little Gazebo Garden which I blipped a couple of times last year. The gate was locked today so I peered in through the railings.

It’s been a cooler day with a strong gusty wind this afternoon. I’ve been to the allotment to water and secure a few plants and items in place as it’s due to get even windier tomorrow.
