Sunshine and shadow on Cockermouth Main Street

As predicted the weather broke overnight giving us a morning of rain which gave way to a brighter afternoon, sunny, cooler and fresher. Very pleasant indeed after the high temperatures of the last few days.

This afternoon we walked more miles around the suburbs of Cockermouth, looking at different areas so that we know the location of houses that come up for sale. Also visited a couple of estate agents to make sure we were on their books.

Tonight, for the first time in weeks, I played an hour on the ukuleke with Uketock. Felt surprisingly good. Not sure what it sounded like to our neighbours.

I realised this morning that Fridays blip of Buttermere was on the second row of the “most popular” page. What a surprise.
