Kew Gardens - Reflections

in the Palm House :)

(better on full/black background)

I don't normally like to do collages very much, but to give the effect of a wonderful day in colour, in the extras -

1. Green in the Palmhouse
2. Agapanthus outside (mine have not even got buds at home)
3. The 'Historic Oak' installation

(not my kind of thing normally, but I sat and chatted to two young ladies involved in supporting it.  They were sitting in the shade.  One was an actress in theatre, and the other was about to start a masters in a subject in biological matters)

4. the walk onwards from the installations
5. a small lily house (I couldn't find one with enormous lilies in as I've seen before).
6. Some of the amazing flowers on the broadwalk - I have no idea of all the names of these :)

A long day out, but I had a proper lunch of sea bass on rice with green beans/peas and some butternut squash - at a price, but it was delicious :)

Having recently discovered I have problems with cows milk products, I tried out a cappucino with oat milk (OK but I'll stick to black coffee), and a wonderful 'plant based' gelato :)

I expected rain today, and packed my kagool, but didn't need it.  Within 5 minutes of getting home it rained hard, for about 5 minutes!

Back to normal tomorrow, and working from home without my big screen

(thankfully a friend popped round yestereday and we managed to get my TV screen to work with my own so I'm able to blip properly again from my camera tonight)
