Vicky’s birthday
It’s been a stressful day. Not only did Mr C have to have 2 unpleasant procedures but also it would have been the 54th birthday of our eldest daughter.
I took Mr C to Wansbeck hospital then drove to QE2 park where I met Marion. As it was pelting down with rain we went to a nearby pub for a coffee and catch up. It was kind of her to keep me company.
Mr C had called to tell me he was waiting to go in and it would take an hour plus half an hour in recovery so I left in good time to head back to the hospital. Eventually I was asked in to have the debriefing with him. (The procedures had taken 3 hours - I won’t go into details except to say that the person doing one of the procedures had to get a senior person in to take over). I’m pleased he accepted sedation this time. He had one polyp removed from the
stomach and it got sent off, plus 3 polyps removed from colon, one of which got sent off, results in around 3 weeks, so fingers crossed for that, though they sounded pretty confident it would be ok. Phew.
The blip is Victoria when at uni, and the niece and nephews with the cake yesterday.
