Still Dry
After I got home from a couple of hours’ work in the sound studio in the early afternoon, the clouds were getting darker and thicker. Thunder rumbled, and the weather radar showed a huge storm coming our way.
I took this photo of the dark sky with our red oleander, looking forward to some much needed rain.
The clouds disappeared, without giving us a single drop of water.
P was in town at the same time, picking up his new passport, and had to dodge a deluge in the city centre - just a couple of kilometres away.
I’ll go and water the garden now, feeling cheated.
