Stripey bum

We were in the water by 8am this morning, mindful of tides and weather forecast! It was lovely but slightly murky due to a change in the wind direction - south east as opposed to the usual westerly. Oddly we were the only ones there but the mobile sauna by the pub was already stoking up!

The sun has gone and mugginess remains followed by some heavy downpours but the buddleia are thriving and giving out a very strong perfume, festooned with small bees and the occasional butterfly.

Thank you for the love for the lily - they seem especially large and exuberant this year.
