Anthony Gormley sculpture?

No, Himself braving the waters this morning. We leapt in pre-breakfast, possibly slightly warmer than before?

A good night last night at the talk with Nuala O Connor held in the scenic venue of an old Methodist church. The interviewer was a bit nervous but Nuala was articulate, engaging and eloquent. We've actually been Instagram friends for a couple of years so met up for lunch today - really nice to get to know her a bit better and hear a bit about the very treacherous waters that surround book and poetry writing. One of the alarming things to discover was how censored some books are becoming, especially in America, and there can be a hoohah should your write about areas now considered particularly sensitive, especially race and enslavement.  If you've not read any of her work I can recommend it. She has written on Emily Dickinson, Nora Barnacle and Anne Bonney as well as short stories and poems. As she confessed, she likes maverick women!
Bantry was busy and full of literary types, events being held all over town - some free some paid, all attracting a good crowd.

I have a ticket for Anne Enright  tonight , another extremely talented Irish writer but I have heard her before and may pass in favour of pizza (homemade) and a night in with himself  before I head off to Kerry.
