woeful filler

A gentleman from work was asking if I knew of anywhere which provided a bicycle-hire service, particularly anywhere where the cost of a couple of weeks' hire would not approach the cost of a low-end bicycle. I did not, but fortuitously happen to have this suitably-sized spare bicycle sitting around and just happen to be having some work done to the house in a couple of weeks' time during which the presence of as few large bicycles as possible would be useful, seeing as the bike shed will have to be moved or dismantled during the work.
