The black house village

We went on touristy visits to Lewis today (100+ miles round trip); to the Callanish stones and then to this reconstructed village of traditional black houses. People can hire some houses to stay in and one is a hostel. Two are museums - one a complete reconstruction of life inside including a loom and a man making Harris tweed!
The difference in scenery from Harris is amazing - lots of flat boggy moorland with little lakes - more like Dartmoor or the Fens!
We then went into Stornaway and picked up some shopping whilst we were there. We returned to the sauna/jacuzzi/food/film/games - so hard!
