Blackwater

A beautiful early morning walk with the lovely MLaM - Chigborough first then the Blackwater.  We spotted a hot air balloon and it got us discussing 60 before 60. Some fun plans ...

Then, too hot for art, so a Basin bob with MLaM. Pure joy. A cool, refreshing swim ... we made it to the elbow buoy - no hanging about as MLaM was on a schedule. 

Then G and I went to the pictures to see the new Jurassic Park film 4DX. Good, but they missed a trick - I would have liked more dinosaurs. The 4DX was a real experience; The seats moved - it was a bit like a roller coaster; air blew and we had water squirted at us too - really immersive On several occasions I cried out loud with the jump scare moments of the film. G had motion sickness when the film ended, so we went for a quiet drink before driving home.
