En-plenair with B at the natural burial ground

Beautiful day with some warm sunshine spells at the tranquil burial ground near Ford End Village. Did my first butterfly count of the year and spotted 7 (4 different species) in the 15 minutes.  We took our painting gear. I chose a landscape scene and B chose to paint this hollyhock.  On a bench, in the first warm sunshine of the year, we both considered writing a funeral plan for when the time comes. It was a lovely time of reflection in the beautiful countryside.

Home for a call with the girls, then Tiptree 5 - final run. Maybe a sub 30 mins? Time by strava was 30:42 - but my average pace was 6 mins per km. A 30 min pace. Fingers crossed for 30 mins when the results are published.

Then off to Maidstone,  ready for tomorrow's London Bridges' walk.
