A beautiful sunny morning in Scalloway first thing, misty in Lerwick. It wasn't long before the mist burned off, and a beautiful sunny warm day all over Shetland, mid 20s again.
Up at 5am, early street beat cleaning. I was working with James, I was on the north beat. Lerwick folk didn't seem interested about hearing Scalloway had glorious weather. Back home for walkies, and much needed time in the garden. Headed out for a walk in the afternoon, and a cuppa with bro Jonny. More walkies with Sammy this evening, nipped along friends after. Early to bed again tonight.
The perfect weather for a walk along the banks, well until the nesting birds starting to attack me from above. It's been teens of years since I was last along the banks here, and had forgotten how pretty it was, also forgotten about the waterfall, which runs down from the Catpund Burn. I found a Viking pot fragment in the burn, with the chisel marks clear as day. I must come back here after a night of rain, when the waterfall is flowing more. Taken at Seli Geo, Cunningsburgh.
