No Pollen

SWMBO has removed all the pollen dispensing bits from the lilies.
You can get some weird interesting shots when you get in close.
It wasn't my plan to photograph flowers ... SWMBO's colourful shoes which first caught my eye. The single poppy in the shaft of sun looked good too. 

We went for an early walk to avoid most of the heat....it is now 8.20pm and 22C.

I started making  couple of mugs on the lathe today from a chunk of wood that had been bumming around for about 20 years. I need to work out what to use for handles to be in keeping with the age and source of the wood but have a bit of contrast.
