Shut

In theory this was my last delivery day to Jupiter (the regular driver is back from his sick leave) so I thought I would try and get some better pictures of the bridge.
They seem to go quite well as a triptych.
I have never seen the gate shut before (not that it was locked).

I tried to cut up the old lathe that has been at the back of the garage for too many years with the angle grinder this morning.
I went all the way round it .... and it is still standing! I have no idea how that is working, but since my back had given up and I didn't have  another cutting disc - I left it to its own devices.

Instead I went and turned a 'dish' from a chunk of Burr Oak.
That was .... interesting. But it didn't try to kill me and seems to look okay (so far).

We went and visited Bags & Co this afternoon.
They enjoyed their holiday - despite the SIL doing his elbow in played water volleyball and Squirrel ripping skin open on her arm on something.

Something strange has happened with the weather today .... it has been sunny -- and warm! ....... ALL DAY!!!!!!!
