Second Place!

OMG! An insanely hot day at Llangollen International Eisteddfod competition today. 30°C on the maes and god knows hat it was on the stage under a tented structure. A very hot and sweaty rehearsal before we went on stage about 1.30pm. 
Even hotter on stage but we sounded good and felt it went really well. 
We came second, the adjudication was very complimentary and provided great constructive criticism. We got 91 points... The choir who beat us got ... 92 points. Sooo close, but we are immensely proud and happy to have second place and a monetary prize too. Half the choir are in town and celebrating, the rest of us went home to sit in a cold bath and lie down in a darkened room.
