Birthday Boy

Hubby’s birthday today and it has been a scorcher. Pretty sure the thermometer would have hit 28 degrees.

We walked early but even at 8:45am it was becoming uncomfortable for walking. We stopped for coffee on our way back just as the Station was opening. By the time we left people were queuing at the counter.

Hung out a washing, read my book under the umbrella and baked a birthday cake. This year a Victoria sponge was requested.

Hubby is making a risotto and focaccia which we will eat in the garden and follow with a bit of cake.
