Tiny Poppy

Set off for a walk this morning and got as far as the play park when we remembered that it was bin day (we now have two bin days per week and different bins each collection day). So, walk was abandoned and we rushed back to get the bin out on the pavement.

Otherwise, it has been very warm. After a bit of pottering I spent the afternoon under the umbrella reading my book and watching the woodpecker at the birdfeeder. Hubby has now set off to play golf.

We got this little poppy for the rockery when we were at the garden centre the other day. I must remember to gather seeds and hopefully have a few more tiny poppies next year.
