I’ve been rather neglectful at volunteering at YorkGate this year because of other commitments, usually dance. So l made the effort on my first free weekend for a while to do a shift on both the Saturday and Sunday mornings. I chose mornings so l can watch both single finals at Wimbledon.

Cafe had steady trade all of the three and a half hours l was there. Got a lovely surprise when a customer  came into the cafe who was a dancer from my group who l performed with last Saturday.

Since l was last here the art work displayed in the cafe has been changed, the new collection is stunning.York Gate
