Golden day

Today we have celebrated our Golden Wedding anniversary- I used to think people who did that were ancient !

The balloon was sent by our dear friends D and L who introduced us when we were all students together in Edinburgh . 

As it is a Friday I went to work in St Andrews as I usually do - Mrs AMK said what else would he do. She is getting used to being married to a vet after 50 years !

We did celebrate in the evening at the fabulous Peat Inn restaurant where we could not have been fed and looked after better. The staff even had a competition in the afternoon to decorate the plate ( extra) . Needless to say it was one of the chefs that won.
