Fresh flowers in the evening sunshine

It was mostly a day of travelling. But before we headed north, I had to go into the city to be part of an RSE photo shoot at the Vennel of all places. I may post the results.

We stopped off at Pitlochry theatre to have a lovely coffee and chat with Winsford. It was good to introduce her to @neatwithice and W. 

All day it was incredibly hot, especially in Pitlochry and Inverness as we drove through (27 degrees!). Even in Tain it was still extremely warm and we sat out for drinks and dinner after we'd got settled. There's always a lot to do when you arrive.

I cooked a quick dinner of a prawn carbonara and a green salad. 

The evening passed in easy chat. The jar of fresh flowers on the table in the garden caught my eye.
