Dolly's Day

GARDEN FLOWERS

I had a disturbed nights sleep due to my leg being painful but its been much better during the day.  Hopefully the antibiotics are beginning to work.

I walked down to the village this afternoon and got some food shopping.  I wore my sunglasses ( to protect my eye after the cataract surgery ) and Factor 50 sun cream as my skin is more sensitive to sunlight whilst taking the antibiotics.  It was really warm and sunny today but there was a cooling breeze at times.

Unpacked the shopping, had a cup of coffee and a biscuit and watched a bit of TV.

Around 4pm my brother and sister in law arrived to collect me and we went to visit Neil, Rachael and baby Ellis.  Luna was really excited when we all arrived.  I had some treats for her as usual so she was extra pleased to see me.

As the weather was lovely we all went into the back garden.  Rachael , the baby, me and Luna found some shade while the others sat in the sunshine on the deck.  We had a nice catch up.  Ellis is doing well and putting on weight.  He's still slightly jaundiced so hes going to have a check up next week about that.   The only photo I took while I was there is  my Extra... Luna relaxing at my feet.   We stayed for around and hour and then I was dropped off back at home.

Took my blip shots in my front garden..Buddleia, Fuchsia and Yellow Loosestrife.  Thanks to BikerBear for hosting Flower Friday.
