Early walk

Early morning walk,
in anticipation of
a crazy hot day!

Dragged Ben and Mr KCNQ2Haiku out early this morning to walk the dog, before it became unbearable and it worked out quite well. It was about 19 degrees in the woods.. still warm but safe! I then kept Ben as busy as I could before his settling session at 2pm. He’s very anxious at the moment, so every word feels like I’m treading on egg shells (even more so than usual!) He went in ok though and the reports have been good so far. I’ve been fielding emails from the care home finalising bedtime routines and photos and insulin pump changes and full medication lists and you name it..
I got home around 3pm and had some work to do in Older Teen’s bedroom, I promised him a bit of a refresh whilst he’s away, so I’ve been in the ‘dismantling’ stage.. I’ll be happier when I’m in the ‘haven’t I created something lovely’ stage! I have until Ben comes home on Sunday night at 6:30pm.. just the sort of work you want to do in a heatwave! At least I wasn’t feeling bad that I wasn’t taking Leo out again, as it was far too hot!
Anyway, ben’s home now, it’s pizza for tea and I’m giving myself full marks for keeping my weekend so busy that I can’t be excessively fretting :-)
