Early morning river view

I took view of the river Thames looking up river from Caversham Bridge before an early walk along the river, past the rowing club and up the Promenade, past the Reading Festival site which has returned to being a hay field, hay now baled and ready to be collected.  Some eager rowers were out early, with joggers and dog walkers . I went to look for the swan family I spotted a couple of weeks ago to check on them and saw a swan head above a shrub on the other side of the river, too far away for a photo, so hopefully all the four little ones I saw then are still OK.  There's a shortage of swan nest sites along this part of the river, so I'm glad they found one, in the riverside garden of one of the houses along the river.
