New Forest pony

I awoke early and took loads of photographs of the New Forest ponies in the field at the back of the Holland's Wood camp site, Brockenhurst, Hampshire. Most of the images weren't too impressive, but there were one or two worth saving.

I like this image except for the fact that the trees and sky were really overexposed. I used a graduated filter to try to reduce this a little.

My dad and I were trying to figure out what was making the numerous humps in the field. I guessed first at mole hills, but then we realised that it was probably piles of horse poo populated by grass and grassland flowers. Can anyone confirm?
