Bits and Bobs!

The historic town of Celle

Arrived safely at Hannover Airport late Tuesday evening, where S&D were waiting for me. Just a short drive to their village to the west of the city, then a late night welcome drink and catch-up. Very late to bed.

Wednesday an outing to the beautiful town of Celle, famous for all it's colourful wooden houses. After a look at the market, D and I climbed the 240 spiral steps of the church tower for views over the rooftops, then recovered from all those steps with an ice cream. Walking past the castle moat we noticed a Coypoy swimming in the moat, then to a café in the main square for drinks in the sun. Back at base that evening, Punky, an Australian Shepherd Dog arrived for a stay while his owners went on holiday, a very sweet elderly giant. Another very late night so am posting this backblip.

In extras, various scenes from the day, and of course the very cuddly Punky. Cool wet start to the day but an afternoon of sunny intervals and 22 degrees.

Thank you for your kind words, stars and hearts for yesterday's blip. Will do my best to keep up with blip but keep running out
of time
