Waiting for the train....

Heatwave #3 has hit and it's feeling really 'close' out there today.  We need a breeze back!!  So we've just walked to the local shops this morning to get some bread, and Dad picked up some books in a charity shop.  One of the charity shops also had a cage of budgies in too and listening to their chirping took me right back as my granddad used to breed budgies and it was lovely hearing their chatter again!  We used to have them as pets here too and I do miss their noise!

I've been puzzling in the garden again most evenings - this isn't my normal kind of puzzle but Dad didn't want to do it so I took over! Just 1 bit missing but it was fun to do, and I have hanging basket envy!

Updated - anybody suffering a ladybird invasion?!  the skies here are full of them right now! It's crazy!
