Bus tours

I managed a swim today and when I got back WH had headed into town in foot and everyone else was up and breakfasted. Took me a bit longer to get organised. 

With WH working and #1 soon wanting to go for a run I took the girls into town to go on the open top bus. We did 2 tours and hopped off twice. 

First was a spur of the moment to go to Dynamic Earth. Interesting a nd the girls enjoyed it but very expensive. Luckily I could Gift Aid the entrance fee. Stopping there meant we had to have lunch there which wasn't as good and a seagull pinched one of Amelia's fish fingers. Olivia did manage to recover her puffa jacket in the sun though. 

After the red route we did the blue route and got off at Newhaven for a walk round the Harbour and an ice cream at Porto and Fi. 

Swapped to a #7 on Leith Walk and got home by 5. It was really sunny and warm and I sat in the garden for a while. The family went to Margiotta and eventually WH made the dinner, Spag Bolog.

It was nearly half eight by the time we finished Aber the girls were so tired they went straight to be bed. The adults watched a film 'The Big Short' and tried to stay awake. It was still after 11 before I climbed the stairs to a beautiful end of day sky.
