Women in Revolt

A day of 2 halves, without a doubt.  It was lovely in the morning when I dragged myself out of bed and cycled to the pool. Then it was back to hang out the washing, while it was dry, and see the visitors off on their way to St Andrews.

I moved to another room and did my nails and dealt with a couple of issues at the Manor.  Then I took the washing in, before the rain, had some lunch and too ages to decide what to wear, how many layers

Y and I were off to Modern Two to the Women in Revolt exhibition.  As Y said strange to see everything analogue and also how depressing it was to think that in some ways we have gone backwards about women's rights and condition.  We finished it off with tea and fine pieces and then brave the by now heavier rain back to the car.

Now I'm sitting with the heating on watching 'The Responder' and outside it is miserable, and cold.
