Hypolimnas Bolina - the Great Eggfly

Another Butterfly House image I’m afraid. It was hot and sweaty inside the house today - 30°C 
And there was only me and two older volunteers, so I felt obliged to spend most of my time inside as I didn’t want them keeling over in the heat! 

Tomorrow, I’m back again for a private visit from a group of childminders and 15 kids under the age of 5…I hope they are all well behaved. 

This butterfly is one we’ve had a lot of last year but not so many this year. They come from Asia and Australia and are sometimes known as the Blue Moon butterfly as well.
