Comma on Echinops with extra bee #8
This morning we took Mum to Dunham Massey for a wander around the gardens in the sunshine. Unfortunately, we were too late for the roses, which were between flushes, but the herbaceous borders were looking fabulous and had hundreds of bees and insects buzzing around, with more butterflies than I've seen anywhere for many a year. There were loads of Whites, Commas, Red Admirals, Peacocks and Gatekeepers. It was a joy to see.
We had lunch at Ego's in Lymm which was delicious and then came back to Mum's to help in her garden for a while.
