Departure

An early morning start to leave Vienna. I ordered an Uber, allowing plenty of time. 50 minutes later, after watching on my phone the Uber struggling to find a way to our location through complex road works, we decided to cancel. We were about to summon the strength to struggle to the airport by trams and train, with heavy bags, when a cab inched past and we flagged it down. He took us swiftly to the airport for only slightly more than the Uber would have cost. After that, all was plain sailing, so to speak.
