The Independent Pianist

The photo on the lower right is from behind the sofa with Cory and Shelly. The show is called The Independent Pianist and it features our friend Cole Anderson. He’s talking about Alfred Brenden who recently passed away. The double exposure was a lucky accident. I took the photo just as Cole was fading out and Brenden was fading in. Shelly really enjoys Cole’s shows and so do I. The first time I met Cole was New Year 2000. He was 12. His mother and I had back to back shows on our local radio station until it moved east and became part of NW Public Broadcasting. Cole is an amazing pianist.
