Mitigation
Studio UFO Gallery and Aqua Terr Systems, Inc. are proud to present Mitigation, an artistic collaboration between Trish Harding and Ann Chaikin, showcasing botanical paintings of Pacific Northwest wetland plants. Created in partnership with ATSI (Aqua Terr Systems Inc), this collection highlights the vital role of wetlands in protecting one of our most precious natural resources.Harding and Chaikin have taken on the challenge of painting each plant at its peak blooming stage, allowing them to work directly from live specimens. Using ink and watercolor, they bring these plants to life in vivid detail. Each piece is accompanied by thoughtfully curated scientific and historical information, including the plant’s commonand scientific name, as well as its ecological significance.Join us for the opening of Mitigation at Studio UFO Gallery on Friday, September 5, from 6–9 PM, featuring presentations by the Aqua Terr Systems team at 7 Pm.
