Burna Boy - Don’t Let Me Drown

Got up early today. Mad list of things done and all timed perfectly. Things that would help me, including study. Cleaned, exercised, haircut, cooked, lunch with my family and saw F1!

It came out last week but I put it off to focus on study. But now that I’ve got a bit of breathing space, time to cash in.

Worth the ticket price to enjoy the atmosphere, precision and adrenaline of the movie. Story, meh. Brad Pitt and Javier Bardem? Yuuuup. F1 cars and cameras right in the action and in many instances, right on the road at 200 miles / 300+ km an hour? Yes!!!

For a racing layman this movie definitely has got me interested in learning more about the best racing in the world. I didn’t know about the strategies (I thought it was just, drive fast), the company investments, the psychological and physical strains on the drivers and pit stop staff, aerodynamics, and little details that make the difference between winning and losing. Half a second difference.

Awe inspiring stuff. I’m definitely getting this movie on 4K Blu-ray to marvel at the camera work and driving experience. This is the closest thing I’ll ever get to experiencing driving a Formula 1 car. Crazy.
