Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Long time no see!

I had quite an active day, unusually. JR had a very active day, as usual. First of all, I decided to pop into town to return a jacket I brought home the other day. Mind you, I kept the other one. So Archie and took the bus in, wandered along George Street, Archie trotting along on full alert for his favourite shops... I realised that he was NOT limping! In fact, I don't remember seeing him limping yesterday! But he's off his food, ignores his breakfast till the afternoon, then finishes his tea later, at bedtime.

It was such a lovely morning, we then walked through the gardens. I haven't been to gaze at the fountain for quite some time, so it had to be today's blip.

Home again, and I decided to cut the grass. It was tough going, as it was quite long and thick. I completely filled the brown bin. But it looks lovely. All we need is some nice weather to be able to sit out and enjoy it. And I think we may have it this week...

JR went to the supermarket, I watched tennis, AND I went on the bike for half an hour.

We've just had the most delicious M&S 'Spatchcock Chicken' for tea! And there's plenty left for tomorrow. And the next day.
