The Eagle..

..has landed (Ok, I know it's a pigeon, but I liked the shadow).

This morning I got up early and put my best work bib and tucker on and went to the recruitment agency for a meeting. Unfortunately the chap I was supposed to meet hadn't checked his diary and was in the Banbury office rather than the Leamington office where I was sitting patiently waiting to meet him - it had been a wasted journey. The ladies in the office were a little embarrassed and apologetic. So, as I still had time on my parking ticket, I decided to head down to the park to see what I could see and this is where I met this feathered superhero - Pete the Pigeon by day, but by night he transforms into Eddie the Eagle - crime fighting bird extraordinaire! (and not the ski-jumping one).

Another highlight of today was a serious work-out with a friend - good conversation and challenging activities and a phone call from the another friend catching up on life.

I'm looking forward to the Great British Bake Off tonight. Mary Berry is a living legend. ;-)
