A treat

Today has been just lovely! My friend and I treated ourselves to a morning spa experience here at this beautiful place. We had use of the pool and gym facilities, lunch and a treatment included. We spent the morning bobbing about in the pool catching up with each other and then had a delicious back and shoulder massage. We then sat outside and had a very tasty lunch. It was very relaxing and altogether delightful!

Whilst we were at the hotel a helicopter turned up to land in the grounds. It was quite impressive watching it land. Sadly no Hollywood stars appeared and it took off again without anyone getting out. Apparently they were just practising landing. They were close by.

After our spa experience we went into Stratford to meet up with her husband and have a cup of tea. It has been a really good day spent with a great friend. (Also bumped into some students so I went back into teacher mode for a few minutes).

Tomorrow I will continue my search for employment to ensure that these days can be repeated.
