A Field Day

I used to spend a lot of time down our field with my dogs hunting for bugs. I don't go down there very often these days as a while ago Mish chased a deer and cut her foot very badly on glass from a disused glasshouse. I left her in the garden this morning and went for a walk to the field to make sure all was well. 

A beautiful painted lady butterfly was nectaring on knapweed. I've added an image to extras of the underside of its lovely wings. Also in extras a dusky sallow moth which is new to me.
