Back to the routine
A cool and breezy day here today, but we went down to the pier for fresh fish as usual, then to buy a few other necessities (or not necessities!)
So different from the last week in London - not the same urge to go out exploring! I sorted out the few plants and cuttings that I acquired while away - two from 49 Bankside and one from the Hampton Court Palace Flower Festival - and did some runner bean re-winding as the strong wind recently unwound a few of them. I was pleased to see a few red spots here and there - the flowers are just beginning to show - my Blip today - unlike in my nephew’s garden the other day where the flowers are fully out! This batch are the farthest advanced - the others, further down the deck, are a bit behind.
Mostly I’ve been sorting photographs from last week. Only about 450, so not as many as usual! I sort them first, delete any duplicates and then improve the rest where I can. This is mostly straightening them and brightening any dark parts. Then when they’re all sorted I’ll go through them again and title them. And finally I’ll do the write-ups, but that’s only for the days I spend wandering about London - just two days this time. Then I wonder if anyone will ever see them again!
