Pacifica

A beautiful day at the coast.  All creatures were fishing today.  There were a number of humpback whales - I do not have camera equipment good enough to photograph them from a distance, but someone else does.  We'd walk, stop, see another spout of water go up.  Then a wait, birds swirling above the water in anticipation of the fish surfacing, then the whales appear.  There was also a sea lion hunting along the surf line.  And then of course humans on the pier.

RWC has decided to move away from the traditional firework display and go with a drone light show instead, great idea in my opinion.  Which reminds me, I've not bopped downtown to look at the annual chalk art festival yet.
