European Cormorant

I was in Glasgow early this morning, so headed along the Clydeside Expressway to the Glasgow Heliport by the River Clyde.

This Cormorant caught my eye as it was keeping watch over the river. It was very still this morning and I like the near monochrome feel of this shot. I have incorporated an image of the bird as it flew away.
