'Timeless'

So much for relying on the arrival of my little blipee granddaughter from Glasgow to provide me with a blip subject today.
At the eleventh hour, daughter #4 phoned to say that it had taken so long to collect her from school that they had missed the train and wouldn't make the Fringe show as planned. So it was a N/S, and there was nothing for it but to go walk-about and find a replacement.

This was the result -a pavement line up of some of the cast of the musical 'Timeless', and a motley crew they seem to be in what is billed as ' Sleek, smart and defying the boundaries of time itself' by the Watford Observer, no less.

The mummies and Queen Elizabeth Ist, together with some characters from the Wild West and the London Blitz, seem rather strange bedfellows even given the invitation to enter the 4th dimension.

I'm not tempted to discover the connection, but the line up did save the day for me.
